Materials Management: Valdes' procurement group supports the execution of the procurement process by managing the quality and timely delivery of equipment and materials from the manufacturing facility to the job-site by:

  • Providing expediting services and reporting delivery schedule information to the project team
  • Performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) prior to delivery of finished good at the job-site. This ensures that the equipment is ready for installation when received at the job-site and eliminates project delays
  • Managing the logistics/transportation of material and equipment from manufacturer and/or distributor to the project site
  • Accounting for and maintaining responsibility for goods delivered to the job site
  • Coordinate closely with the client’s lay-down yard and warehouse to develop a detailed plan outlining key requirements for short and long term storage requirements
  • Provide inventory control tracking to manage material movement during the life of the project
