Challenge

Sauk Valley Community College has a police training program that has grown in stature over the last several years. Now, the college is contemplating an expansion of the Police Academy into a separate, stand-alone facility.

Solution

Vales Architecture & Engineering is conducting programming sessions with College Police Academy staff to build a final program of spaces to be used to generate several floor plan options and building images for the Police Academy. The facility is planned to hold classrooms, simulator room, firing range, mat room, small scenario rooms, and breakroom as well as conference space.

Impact

Once complete, the conceptual plans will be used by the College to solicit funding for the new facility
