Challenge:

A large national manufacturer of sterilized equipment needed to relocate five Ethylene Oxide sterilizers from another location and accommodate them at their already exisiting facility. The client needed to maintain the building at a contant room temperature and ventilation and take into account adding more sterilizers and a dry reactor system in the future.

Solution:

Valdes considered their client’s current and future needs and prepared a general layout and performed code reviews and architectural programming. The Valdes mechanical design allowed for tie-ins to existing air, nitrogen, water, steam and condensate systems. HVAC and fire protection design and electrical support were important components of the design as well.

Impact:

The client needed a facility that met their current and future needs and Valdes delivered by making certain they could build off of their exisiting facility and accommodate their equipment while also making a plan for additional equipment and systems for future expanisions.
